Harlan County High School will have an Electronic Financial Aid on Line workshop and it will be held in the 1st floor Computer Lab, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 4 – 6 pm. The student will need to bring a parent, (if available), their license, social security number, and W2′s (if they have them). The following will be there that night to help you; Tyler Powers (with KHEAA), Janet White YSC, Lisa Asbury, Cortney Abraham, and Mike Scott.
The Harlan County Spelling BEE for Harlan County, Harlan Independent and Harlan County Christian Schools will be held on Monday, Jan. 25th in the auditorium at HCHS. Participants must arrive by 5:45 p.m., and the contests will start at 6 p.m.
The Harlan County High School Site Base Decision Making Council will meet on the second Thursday of each month at 3:15pm in the HCHS Media Center. All are welcome to attend. Meeting dates for 2016 are: Feb. 11, March 11, April 8, May 3, and June 10.
