School & Sports Anns/Cancellations

There will be no school for the Harlan County Public School District on Monday, Nov. 2nd and Tuesday, Nov. 3rd.  Monday is a professional development day for teachers and staff.  Tuesday is the General Election.  This is a great time for students to read a book, schedule college visits, study for the ACT, work on special projects and a host of other possibilities to help academically.  Classes resume on regular schedule on Wednesday, November 4th.

The Harlan County High School Site Base Decision Making Council will meet on the second Thursday of each month at 3:15pm in the HCHS Media Center. All are welcome to attend.  Meeting dates are:  Nov. 12, Dec 14, Feb. 11, March 11, April 8, May 3, and June 10.
